Yes, that's snow on my lawn here in Las Vegas! It's been coming down nonstop all day! It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
Me and my sweet Grandma.... I love her so much.

Me, Mama, and Erin in Grandma's room in Arizona. I have the greatest family!

Although the funeral for my older sisters' dad was a sad occasion to gather for, it still gave me a chance to go and show support for them and my love for their dad, Trent. I have the world's most awesome sisters!
Saturday night in Arizona after a long day we all gathered at my sister, Jona's to visit and listen to my nephew, Collin play the guitar and sing while we all sang along to Elton John, Queen, you name it. It was so much fun! We stayed up til the early hours of the morning!!

This is Collin and a cousin, Ericka Dalton. Ericka is a real angel who spent alot of time with Dana and Callie at the hospital.

This is little miracle girl, Callie who I realize I'm obsessed with OK! We were at my mom's and had the music turned on and Callie was so workin it! She loves to dance. In this picture she was doing that little bum shakin move. It was hilarious! Can you believe this is the little girl they thought wouldn't live to see her 2nd birthday, which by the way is next month! Yay!

Me and Callie at her Grandpa Burke's funeral. They did a surgery to open up her eyelids last week so she's able to see the world without tilting her head back and peeking through her one eye like she did for so long. It's an adjustment as now her eyelids won't close and her parents had a real struggle to get her to sleep with her eyes open. It breaks my heart what this little girl has to go through but she fights her way through it all with remarkable strength. The terrible two's have never looked so good!

I threatened Jason that if he refused to smile normal for a picture, I'd post whatever smile he gave me. So bamm! Here it is! Welcome to my life!!!
I was looking at this picure in shock at how grown up my little girl is getting. Without my tall shoes, Bailey is as tall as me now! I think she's beautiful inside and out and am proud of what a great girl she is. She's a really fun kid. Always willing to embarrass herself for a laugh!

This is me and my cuz, Jarrett. This is how pictures turn out when there's an 8 year old behind the camera. Thanks Megan!! Love you!
My sister Jeni's husband, Jeremi and their cute little boy, Jace. We loved seeing them!

Jarrett throwing our kids violently onto that tiny trampoline pad at Nana's. They loved every minute of it!
Feeding frenzy at Thanksgiving!! Actually there was plenty of yummy food to go around. We had so much fun with our family! That's Adam, Burke, Aunt Dana, Bailey, and Elsie.

We got an awesome surprise when we looked out the window of our room in Pinetop Thanksgiving morning. It was beautiful! Our kids played in the snow all morning. They had a great time! This is my Cameron.

Big brother Kade helping Pierce make a snowball. That's Pierce's first time seeing snow as it's falling.

Faun and her little superstar, Callie. Her Aunt Erin and I agree. She is one special little person. She is doing so great. She amazes us!! This is us at a late night visit at Aunt Jona's. Did I already mention how much I love my family!!!

I wanted to show the awesome view we get from our house up on the edge of Vegas. The picture doesn't do it jusice, but we have a clear view of the entire city at night. We were able to see fireworks going off at casinos all over the city from our house back on the 4th of July!

Kade broke his arm rollerblading two weeks ago and reminded me to put it on our blog now that our computer is working again! We are getting to know the nurses at the quick care too well! He's excited it will be off in time to go to Nana and Grandpa Dee's for Thanksgiving, though.

A few weeks ago while Jason was at a scout overnighter
with Kade, and Bailey was spending the night at a friend's house, I had a surprise visit from two little boys who both informed me they were....DIAPER MAN!! I hope I'm lucky enough to see those diapered heroes again!!!
This is my sweet little niece, Callie. I was able to spend some more time with her and my sister and my brother-in-law, Jeff this past weekend. She is so amazing! It's miraculous how different she looks now than the day of the accident 3 weeks ago. I told Dana that Callie was sent to us to show us what tough looks like! My mom said I was going to outer darkness for going to the hospital on my way out of town instead of church yesterday. (I think she's kidding?!) But Dana was so right when she said being with Callie IS a spiritual experience. The spirit is so strong in her room. I'm sure it's thanks to her and her parents who's faith and strength truly inspire me. I told Callie when she decides she's ready to wake up we are SO coming back to Arizona to see her and celebrate!!

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

Well, we survived the first day of school! It was a crazy day, but Bay loved her 1st day of high school, Kade loved his 1st day of middle school, and Cam said his teacher was "Super, dooper nice". And the last picture describes how Pierce felt at the end of a day spent mostly in our van going back and forth to the kids schools! And as you can see as evidence on his face, there was chocolate used to sweeten the time spent in the car! But the kids are happy and thats all that matters to me! That's my newest great niece, Irie. She is so cute and tiny! Because Collin and Jen live across the street, Bonnie brings the baby over to my house so I can love on her every couple of days! I love my neighbors!

I just came across a quote that hits so close to home I had to share it! And for anyone who knows my boys, it's totally fitting!

"Boys are God's way of letting you know your house is too clean"

Monday, August 11, 2008

This was our trip to visit our favorite cousins in Queen Creek! We had such a great time and our kids love playing together. Jarrett and Lisa's girls even got Cameron and Pierce playing Polly Pockets with them. We had to leave before the boys started liking it too much!!

And I don't know how to rotate so turn your head sideways and you'll see Jason and his offspring at the Phoenix zoo looking at the giraffes!!
Pierce is a Daddy's boy all the way. This was our trip to the Phoenix zoo in March.
Bailey, Kade, And Pierce at the train park. Cam wanted to ride in the cage car that time.. I think he felt at home there!
Faun ,Moma, and Grandma Mac at her birthday bash in March. We had a blast!
Faun and Pierce at our joint birthday party. This year on April 26th Pierce turned three and I turned, well let's just say twelve times his age!!! That sounds really bad huh! His awesome Aunt CheyAnne made him a Thomas the train cake which he loved and I had my favorite DQ cake!!
